NYC Comptroller calls for a pause on AI safety concerns
Anthropic is planning to publicly file documents with the SEC for its blockbuster IPO on October 26 in hopes of going public in mid-November, a person familiar with the process told IFR.
The AI large language developer is planning to launch the public roadshow on November 9 and price the deal the following week, the person said.
Anthropic has been seeking to raise up to US$100bn at a US$2trn valuation, the person said. Reuters first reported the size and valuation.
Anthropic met with sell-side analysts at banks involved in the offering on Tuesday to update them on its latest quarterly results, followed by a group meeting with institutional investors on Wednesday at its headquarters in San Francisco.
